Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. (RVLT) engages in the design, manufacture, marketing, and sale of light emitting diode (LED) replacement light bulbs; and LED-based signage, channel letter, and contour lighting products in the United States, Canada, and internationally.
Today RVLT announced the appointment of Charles J. Schafer as President and Chief Financial Officer of the company effective January 29, 2013.
Over the past 30 years, Mr. Schafer has held senior management and executive positions at several companies including L-3 Communications, Corp., Lockheed Martin and Loral Corp. He holdsa M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and B.S. with honors from New York Institute of Technology in Accounting.
Mr. Schafer commented:

Also, Revolution Lighting announces the receipt of a $5 million order for LED lighting products with a total potential value of $10 million.
The energy-efficient LED products will be manufactured by a wholly owned subsidiary of Revolution Lighting Technologies, Seesmart, Inc., and will be installed in retail stores, office complexes, warehouses and storage facilities.
The majority of the order will be installed within the first quarter of 2013. Revolution Lighting Technologies expects to receive a second order totaling $5 million immediately thereafter.
