TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSYS) announced on Friday that it will hold a conference call on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time to discuss results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2012.
Presentation will be hosted by Maurice B. Tose, TeleCommunication Systems’ Chairman, President and CEO, and Tom Brandt, company’s SVP and CFO.

On January 17th TSYS announced that it has received an order from the Australian Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) for its Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite systems.
The following facts have been highlighted:
- The DSTO is the Australian government’s lead agency charged with applying science and technology to protect and defend Australia and its national interests and delivers expert, impartial advice and innovative solutions for defense and other elements of national security
- TCS VSAT systems provide multimedia communications capabilities which convey encrypted voice, video and data
- Highly transportable and ruggedized, TCS VSAT systems also have a graphical user interface that facilitates easy set-up and operation
